When I started the brand Alice & Astrid my aim was to create beautiful textiles and garments that make the wearer feel special and in creating imagery which brings the story of Alice & Astrid to life, capturing intimate moments in time and showing the silks and garments to their very best. I love working with photographers, models and makeup artists, finding the right location, pulling together ideas for angles and thinking where the images will be used, how they will make the viewer feel.

Natural light and nature is important to the Alice & Astrid look and working with a model who happy to dance around in a field in a silk dressing gown! Here I am sharing a few behind the scenes shots of the beautiful Alina Longmore and the talented photographer Jade Angus from Gasp Photography on location in the fields (a historic monument site) and grounds of my home along with Honey the Labrador who was trying to steel the limelight!
